Khal Mohammad is an original Afghani design that was woven within that last three decades. These rugs are hand-knotted in the northern part of Afghanistan by the Uzbek and Turkoman women. These impeccable tribal pieces feature six predominate designs and the main colors are always various shades of terracotta and blue. Woven in Ghazi, a city that is world famous for producing one of the finest sheep wools.
